Welcome to the Timberjack Ultramarathon and trail carnival. This race is graciously approved and permitted within the Deschutes National Forest. Experience the Trail Running Capital of North America! Ponderosa and lodgepole pines line the course as you roll along ancient volcanoes and the Deschutes River valley. Start and finish along the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway in the shadow of the majestic Mount Bachelor.
The Timberjack is certified, sanctioned, insured, and holds all applicable permits. No part of this is half-assed. A portion of the proceeds from this event is donated to the Central Oregon Trail Alliance (COTA) who build and maintain the awesome trail systems here in Bend. https://www.cotamtb.com/

The 30k features 2000+ ft of elevation gain over a single-loop course and consists of the larger loop of the 100k course, shown to the east of the starting area. Both courses start and finish at the Wanoga Sno Park and pass the Deschutes River valley.
The course is a championship caliber, three-lap loop course in a contained, family-friendly package.
CUTOFF for the 100k will be midnight (18 hours). There will be a mid-race cutoff at Wanoga at 24.7 and 43.5 miles based on projected finish pace (approx 17:00/mi pace) at 1:00pm and 6:20pm.
PACERS are welcomed and encouraged for the 100k on lap 3 of the big loop (miles 43 to finish). Pacers may join their runner anywhere after mile 43. Anyone starting their 3rd lap after 2:30pm will need to carry a headlamp and a space blanket with them on that final lap.
