Here’s how the ‘live’ experience works….. To be clear, we’re NOT hosting a ‘race’, an ‘event’, or a ‘running group’. The ‘live’ experience is a physically distanced, safe, outdoor, SOLO, trail running experience. Please read the details below about ‘how this works’. Sign up for The Sasquatch Scramble 5K/10K/Half (LIVE or Virtual) Show up at Redwood Regional Park in Oakland anytime between 8AM-4PM on Sun,4/25. Please make sure you wear a mask when appropriate & maintain appropriate distancing while running on the course. We’ll be set up outside the park (exact location TBD) for you to collect your swag and post run celebratory beverage (safely). We’ll be wearing buffs/face masks, gloves, and we’ll have plenty of hand sanitizer on hand. Prior to 4/25, you’ll be provided a course map with audio cues and turn-by-turn directions for easy navigation. Conquer the SasquatchScramble and swing by the post run rendezvous point (TBD) to grab your swag and a delicious, chilled, post run beer (from Standard Deviant Brewing Company). If beer isn’t your thing, we’ll also have Hint Winter and Athletic Brewing Company non-alcoholic beer for you. Report your time online. DONE! The Swag: All participants receive… -An epic, trail run at Redwood Regional Park (if participating ‘live’) -An AWESOME race woodallion (that doubles as a bottle opener..SEE ABOVE)! -An awesome, psychedelic Sasquatch Scramble buff/neck gaiter (see below) -A Sasquatch Scramble beer sampler stein -Post run beverages (your choice of Standard Deviant Beer, Hint Water, or Athletic Brewing Company non-alcoholic brew) & pre-packaged snacks. If ‘live’ isn’t your thing, we’re supporting a ‘virtual’ option. Run on your own on Sun, 4/25 and we’ll ship you your swag. No problem!
