San Jose Shamrock Run – Race Spotlight

There is a great new race by Represent Running (the same folks that bring you 408k, 415k Across the Bay, Silicon Valley Half and East Bay 510k) going down on March 17, 2019.  The first annual Shamrock Run in San Jose is a family friendly 5k, 10k and kids race with a mostly flat course that starts and ends at St. Pedro square in downtown San Jose.

This race has teamed up with the San Jose/Dublin Sister City Scholarship Program so those miles will be doing good for both you and the community.  When signing up, use code RepresentLUSH to get a discount and consider donating the savings!

We cannot wait to celebrate St. Patrick’s day here as it features a post-race finish line party with live entertainment and a beer garden!  As if that wasn’t fun already, check out the super cute finisher’s medal with a Running Lushes approved bottle opener!

This race is part of the Valley Challenge and Series Star challenge so you’ll get bonus medals if you run multiple events – see below!

We hope we will see you there and get to cheers you with a green beer at the finish! Run Local and Spot the Lush

St. Patrick’s Day Beer

Pilsner or light colored beer
Green Food Coloring

Pour beer into chilled pint glass. Carefully drop 3-5 drops of food coloring into the beer. Gently swirl until all blended. Add a few more drops if the color is not dark enough for your liking.
